    Yagyavalkya Vidya Mandir CBSE English Medium School organized Science & General Exhibition. Our honorable Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri M.H Joshi (Resident and Additional Collector & Additional District Magistrate), Shri H.L. Jani (Deputy DPEO), Capt. B.N. Ladva (Port officer, Gujarat Maritime Board, Porbandar).

    It was organized to encourage and inculcate a scientific temper amongst students . The students showcase their talent in Science, Mathematics, Languages and Social science.

    The Chief Guest was welcomed in tradition followed by Ganesh Stuti.

    The dignitaries proceeded to the exhibition area. They took a keen interest in viewing the exhibit and interacting with the students.

    The exhibition opened for parents at 11.00 a.m. It saw the attendance of a large number of parents who appear to enjoy and appreciate the project that were displayed.

    The two days Science & General Exhibition presented with many themes like save Save birds, Ramayan, Animal Kingdom, Our Solar System, Our National Symbols, Types of Houses , Herbal Plants, Gujarat Tourism, Nature and Health ,Science effect in our daily life, Lead to light Vedic and Modern, R.T.O, Disaster Management, LOC , Banking with innovating working models and investigation based projects.

    Some of the exhibits by the students were indeed eye openers for all the audience on various topics related to Disaster Management, R.T.O, and Environment.

    The Jury Members were I/C of Science College, Mr. Rojiwadiya and Mr. H.L. Jani (Retired Deputy D.P.E.O) & Management applauded the students for their new ideas. The Principal thanked all the parents for making this event a success and appreciated their new projects.

    There were many themes regarding Science but the mock drill of LOC [Line of Control], awareness for disaster management, RTO and Ramayana Skit has attracted all.

    To give importance to value education some skits like charity begins at home with a message “to look thyself…!” and showing importance of Ganesha with the message to give importance of parents. And swachcha Bharat were also presented to bring awareness among the school students followed by Prize Distribution.

    The girls of higher class showed mesmerizing dance on Women Empowerment.

    The exhibition was a huge success. Enthusiasm and effectiveness overflowed amongst students, their teacher and parents.

    The day was precious moment because a sight from the fact that the function underlines school’s successful back to back years in its realm imparting education.
