    •         Annual Report 2013-2014

              Yagyavalkya Vidya Mandir English Medium School lays a great deal of stress on character building in the School and it is predominant importance for parents to comprehend here that the character-building begins during infancy itself and it is neither money nor intellect that governs the world but, it is moral character & excellence that reigns supreme.

             The inter-house English Debate held this session was a tremendous success as several new faces made their furry into the field of literacy adventure. Jassani Neha, Mansi Gohel, Nadim Kanani, Arfin Palkhi , Tanvi Sonegi secured the first second & third (place) respectively. The English Poetry Recitation was a huge success and 8 – students were awarded.

                  The English & Hindi Essay Writing and Handwriting contest brought to the forefront quite a number of budding aspirants come forward and got selected.

                  Yet another feather to our cap as our students won the first position in Bal Urja and they went to Goa ,Words of praise to the talented students Master Abhishek(for creative writing), Master Partik Harkhani(singing) . There was Painting Competition. Competition was organized by Coast Guard in which three Students got prizes.

             On the cultural front

    The Inter House Patriotic Dance competition too was organized in a befitting manner.

    Our Tiny Tots put a magnificent show on Fancy Dress Competition.

            On the Physical Education Front, our champions swimmers took part, chess champion , Judo, Athletics. To encourage interaction , Education field trips & tours were organized while the Independence Day was celebrated to rejuvenate the Patriotic feeling followed by Elocution competition , Drawing competition , Rangoli competition in which Abhinav Anand stood first Neha Jasani (scored second).

    Yesterday is gone- Tomorrow’s sun will rise either in splendor, or behind a mark of clouds, but it will rise. And we are ready to welcome this tomorrow with an open arms.
